I'm walking to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer.
Lately it seems more and more, that someone I know and love is diagnosed with breast cancer. This year, a dear, lifelong friend, faces the fight of her lifetime in a battle with bilateral breast cancer.
Research helps, and is making strides in the battle to treat, and some day cure breast cancer. But we need to do more. That’s why Gary and I will be walking again.
On Saturday, Oct. 10, I’ll be taking part in the 21st annual Tidelands Health In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation to the Tidelands Health breast care fund. Tidelands Health is our region’s largest health system and leading cancer provider. Because Tidelands Health is a not-for-profit health system, donations are tax deductible.
