When will the In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk be held?
The 2026 In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 10.
Where will be walk be held?
The 2026 In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk will be held at Brookgreen Gardens, located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet.
What time does the walk begin?
Gates will open at 7:15 a.m., and the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Make sure to arrive early enough to get your t-shirt before the walk begins.
How long is the walk?
The walk route is approximately one mile.
Can I observe the walk without registering?
No. Everyone 12 and older must register to attend. If you have not registered, you will not be allowed inside Brookgreen Gardens for the walk.
Do children need to register to participate?
Children 12 and older must register to participate. Registration is not required for children 11 and under. Note that children 11 and under who are not registered will not receive a t-shirt.
What do I receive with my $35 paid registration?
You will receive a commemorative t-shirt, as well as complimentary admission to Brookgreen Gardens for the day.
Where do I pick up my t-shirt?
T-shirts will be distributed on site on the day of the walk ONLY. Make sure to arrive early enough to get your t-shirt before the walk begins. Gates will open at 7:15 a.m., and the event will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Is my t-shirt size guaranteed?
T-shirts will be distributed based on the size you indicated in your registration on a first-come, first-served basis. While we’ll make every effort to provide the size you need, we cannot guarantee it.
Is walk registration refundable?
No. Your registration fee is a non-refundable donation to the Tidelands Health breast care fund.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
Can I stay at Brookgreen Gardens after the walk ends?
Yes. Participation in the walk grants full-day access to the gardens. Enjoy beautiful Brookgreen Gardens at your leisure once the walk concludes.
Is food provided during the event?
No. However, Brookgreen Gardens has a variety of dining options available to enjoy once the walk concludes. Normal dining rates apply.
