This year’s In the Pink raised more than $260,000 for the Tidelands Health breast care fund – a record amount.
“For 20 years, our community has been the heart of our In the Pink breast cancer awareness walk and has helped it grow into such a powerful, special event,” said Dr. Craig Brackett, medical director of the Tidelands Health breast program who helped create In the Pink 20 years ago.
“Standing on the stage today looking at such a large crowd of participants proudly wearing pink, it was hard not to be overcome with gratitude for every walker, donor, sponsor and volunteer through the years who has made a difference in the lives of so many.”
