I'm fundraising to give back to Tidelands Health

I'm Dawn Costello, wedding officiant and owner of Vows by Dawn Wedding Officiant Services. And a breast cancer survivor.

Almost 2 years ago, I received my diagnosis. But, I was not alone.  That year, 298,000 other women in the US also heard those same words: "You have breast cancer". 

At the time, I had just committed to making my wedding officiating business (Vows by Dawn) my full time job; I had already left the security of my steady 9 to 5 job; and I had to break the difficult news to my husband and my teenaged son. It was truly one of the worst times in my life. 

But... Everyone at Tidelands Health, they were amazing. And with them,  I made it through my diagnosis and my treatment.  I got back to living, and back building my business. So now, I'm busy marrying people right here in the Grand Strand and beyond.  And this year, I want to give back... 

So I'm fundraising for the 20th annual Tidelands Health In the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness walk.

I'm donating 10% of Vows by Dawn's proceeds for all the weddings I officiate in the month of October. It's already a very busy month for weddings, but I have a little bit of room left on my calendar to make it even busier!
