Event instructions

We look forward to seeing you on the new event date, Saturday, Nov. 1!

Because of the forecasted weather conditions, In the Pink has been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 1, at 8:30 a.m. at Brookgreen Gardens.

Date, time and location

In the Pink will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, at beautiful Brookgreen Gardens, located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive in Murrells Inlet. Gates will open at 7:15 a.m., and the program will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. We recommend you arrive no later than 8 a.m. to allow time for parking. Please be patient and allow plenty of extra time, given the number of attendees.  

IMPORTANT: For complimentary admission, walk attendees must arrive before Brookgreen Gardens opens to the public at 9:30 a.m. If you arrive at 9:30 a.m. or later, you’ll be charged the regular daily admission fee to Brookgreen Gardens.  

Upon arrival at Brookgreen Gardens, do not stop at the admission gate. Follow the In the Pink signs to the event area near Leonard Pavilion at the rear of the gardens.  

Registration is extended

Registration has been extended. Registration closes Thursday, Oct. 30, at 5 p.m.

Carpool

We strongly encourage you to carpool to the event with fellow team members or other walkers. Parking at the event site will be directed by Brookgreen Gardens volunteers, and they will work to maximize the number of cars in the parking area. There will be overflow parking once the primary parking for the event is full.  

There are no designated handicapped parking spots. However, Brookgreen Gardens volunteers are available to shuttle participants to the event site. 

T-shirt distribution

T-shirts will be distributed on site at the check-in tent. Arrive early enough to get your t-shirt before the walk begins. Restrooms will be available for you to change into your shirt if you’d like. T-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. While we’ll do our best to provide the size you need, we cannot guarantee it. T-shirt pickup is only available at the event. 

Individual cancellation

If your circumstances change and you cannot attend the walk, your registration fee is a non-refundable donation to the Tidelands Health breast care fund. T-shirts are only available to registered participants who attend the walk.  T-shirts must be picked up at the walk.  

Pets

Pets are not allowed.
