WHAT IS THE IN THE PINK BREAST CANCER AWARENESS WALK? 

In October 2006, The Tidelands Health Foundation held the first In the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk with around 200 participants. The walk was established to help provide free mammography services for individuals without financial resources or government assistance. Today, we have nearly 1,300 registered walkers and more than 1,500 participants who support the Breast Care Fund, which is part of the Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network.

How long is the walk?

The walk is a little over 2 miles round trip.

HOW WILL I GET MY T-SHIRT?

T-shirt pick up will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28; Thursday, Sept. 29; Tuesday, Oct. 4, and Wednesday, Oct. 5*, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Waccamaw Medical Park East, 4033 Highway 17, Suite 104, Murrells Inlet. T-shirts may also be picked up at registration the day of the event.

IS THERE A GUARANTEE I’LL GET THE T-SHIRT SIZE I WANT?

Walk t-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed. 

IF I REGISTER AND THEN DECIDE I CAN’T DO THE WALK, CAN I GET A REFUND?

Registration fees are a donation to the Tidelands Health Foundation Breast Care Fund, so no refunds or discounts will be issued. We are grateful for your support! 

IF SOME OF MY TEAM MEMBERS REGISTER USING THE PAPER FORM, WILL THEY SHOW UP ON MY TEAM PAGE ONLINE?

Only team members who register online will automatically show up on your team page. 

I HAVE CHILDREN WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE. DO I REGISTER THEM?

Please register children 13 years and older to receive a t-shirt. 

HOW DO I ADD AN OFFLINE DONATION?

• Log in, and go to your Participant Center. 
• Scroll down. Look for the box labeled "Personal Donations." 
• Click the blue "Add" button. 
• Enter the name of the donor, preferred method of recognition and the amount and type of the gift. 
• Select “Add” or “Save and Add Another.”
