ABOUT THE WALK

In October 2006, nearly 200 individuals took part in the Tidelands Health Foundation's first Breast Cancer Awareness Walk. The walk was established to help provide free mammography services for individuals without financial resources or government assistance.

Each year, we are happy to see new and returning registrants. We listen to far too many stories of individuals on their breast cancer journey, and we honor the memory of those who have lost their battle to breast cancer. We come together to support this fund and make a difference to all that attend while cheering each other on and celebrating this special time with our community.

Join us and show your support for those who are facing breast cancer, those we have lost and our survivors. With your paid registration for the walk, you will receive an event t-shirt, have access to the vendor expo and be part of the celebration ceremony.  Survivors will receive a special gift to make each of you stand out. Your registration fee is a donation that will help patients and families who are facing cancer in our community.
