Welcome to Team Christine. In memory of my sister, Christine Marie Theresa Antonino who lost her breast cancer fight just one day after turning 35.
This year Team Christine will be participating in the 19th annual "In The Pink" Breast Cancer Awareness Walk hosted by Tidelands Health Foundation at an all new location, the beautiful Brookgreen Gardens.
Following Chris's passing in October 2003, Team Christine commenced in 2004 in Cleveland, Ohio for the Susan G. Komen walk. That was the only walk in Ohio for Team Christine. We are going on our 19th year of Team Christine in South Carolina. Many of our family and friends have walked with us and/or donated to this very important cause to Chris, and as Team Captain, I speak on behalf of our family, that we are grateful and humbled by your generosity over the years.
We are asking our families, friends, and co-workers to donate to the fund that helps provide free mammography services for individuals without financial resources or government assistance. We hope you will help us reach our fundraising goals!
We’re taking part in this event because it supports a cause that affects so many of us. 1 in 8 women is projected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. That means each of us is far too likely to have a loved one face this terrible disease.
Your support will help to make a difference throughout our community. Your contribution to the Tidelands Health Foundation In the Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will continue to support the Breast Care Fund, a part of the Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network.
